Campus Tours

The Visitors Center conducts regularly scheduled campus tours as part of UGA's Campus Visit Experience five days a week: Monday through Friday at 8:30, 11:30, and 2:30. Tours are offered on selected Saturdays throughout the year. Following a brief presentation about the first-year admissions process, participants in one of Campus Visite Experiences thne board a tour bus for a student-led 75-minute combination driving and walking tour of the campus. Our knowledgeable tour leaders take prospective students and their families, alumni, and special groups through the campus, providing details about the history of campus along with their insights about the current UGA student experience.

The first 15 minutes of the tour feature a drive through East, South, and West Campuses before the tour bus stops at the historic UGA Arch. After departing the bus, visitors embark on a 45-minute walking tour through historic North Campus and into the heart of campus, including a walk through a portion of the Zell B. Miller Learning Center and the newly expanded Tate Student Center. The remaining 15 minutes feature a drive back to the Visitors Center through South and East Campuses.
