Eric Johnson is a 1986 graduate of the University of Georgia with an A.B.J. in Telecommunication Arts and a minor in Speech Communication. His hometown is Rome, GA. After graduating from UGA, he worked for a U.S. Congressman in Washington, D.C. for more than four years, serving as a legislative assistant and press secretary. Eric worked in the UGA Office of Undergraduate Admissions from 1992-2007. He was an Associate Director of Admissions and served for thirteen years as Director of New Student Orientation. He has been at the UGA Visitors Center since November of 2007. Eric and his wife, Shanna, have two young daughters.
